Best pool float for my Goldador with big nails

Truly the best and I’ve looked everywhere except for Europe!
I would have given it a 5 star but the company won’t sell you a replacement cover. I just ordered my third one but was disappointed (reason for a 4 star vs 5 star review) when I wrote a nice email requesting to buy a cover only because the foam inserts still looked new and only the cover was torn because of the dog nails which is quite normal. I had to assume the answer was “no” as my email was totally ignored by the company. They encouraged to email questions on their website but even after resending multiple times…no response. Not even a “sorry but no we don’t “ response which would have taken all of 30 seconds to write. The float was only 16 months old but I live in Florida and we use it all the time (no winter break) It seems they could make covers available as it takes nothing special to do that. Maybe they make a higher percentage off the foam inserts and don’t want to alter their mark-up. I would be willing to pay for shipping or whatever their price was. These are small things to companies like this but big things to consumers like me. They seem to to always be out of inventory for the more popular colors but that would not stop me from buying this product. It is a good value and I’ll continue to buy and recommend to friends and family. My suggestion is to take that extra time to respond to emails. It’s the difference between good and great.
PS…if you think it can’t be done, research “The Farmers Dog” (fresh dog food sent to your front door) they will respond to emails within 10 minutes of getting them even on weekends. If they can do it with their volume, so can you.

So durable and fun I bought a second one.

We live on a lake with a pair of water dogs. It’s so nice to be floating with them in the water. You never have to worry about the fish nibbling on you, you’re partially submerged, and it floats my 90 lb lab. I use it too and I can comfortably float.

It’s honestly the PERFECT way to train a dog to swim in the water as they can crawl on and off. That’s what my 6mo old 40lb pitty mix thinks!

My first lazy dog is four years old now, and still going strong. 100% recommend to friends and is a hit with people floating by on pontoons.

          Review from Minnesota. :)

Great raft if I could only get my dog on it!

Works as described but it was a no go for us

Purchased in an attempt to take our dog down the river with us. He is 70lbs and not super fond of being in the water unless its about knee depth. I thought he wouldn't mind being partially submerged, but he refused to even lay on the raft. We tried multiple times to get him to lay on it, but as soon as it started to get unstable he would bail. He ended up in my kayak for the 3 hour trip which wasn't the greatest, but now we know he is not a river dog. Would probably be ok for someone whose dog doesn't mind the unstableness of the raft. I gave it 4 stars because it was kind of on the small side for a 70lb dog, I cant imagine it would fit a 100lb dog.

          Excellent. Durable dog rafts

All labradors love the water. We always purchased traditional foam rafts (like people use) for our labs, but they tore them up with their claws whenever they were getting on the raft.
Then we started purchasing rafts that had a single cloth bottom around a cloth wrapped inner-tube. The cloth bottoms always tore out on these rafts when the dogs jumped into them from the side of the pool. After we purchased our first lazy dog raft we liked it so much that we’ve purchased several more (two for the pool and two for the river). These rafts are durable and much easier for the dogs to climb onto from the water.
